Center for Pain Medicine

This 12,071 sf center houses a practice that specialized in pain management dealing primarily with spine-related pain. The focus of this facility was to provide top quality care and an environment that mirrors and supplements the quality of care provided.

The Center for Pain Medicines’s Surgery Center includes a single operatory suite. Supporting spaces such as decontamination, sterilization, storage and recovery were all designed to accommodate an addition that houses a second operatory suite. Clinical spaces for exams and treatments are provided with supporting spaces and offices.

The GCS team worked with Zerr Berg Architects and both tenants; the Center for Pain Medicine and PT/OT Partners, to accommodate specific needs for day-to-day staff operations, patient-specific needs, and planning for future growth of the facility.

The project’s design process continued during construction as the project was split into multiple bid groups. This allowed for a streamlined construction schedule and project bidding during ideal bidding climates.
